Ramova – a Marina Below a Mountain

The marina Ramova is situated in the small village of Krvavica on the Makarska Riviera. The Riviera is a popular tourist destination, but is not held in very high regard by yachtsmen, mostly because there are not many sheltered bays and natural ports. The marina is a good shelter from bura that blows from the Biokovo mountain that towers above the area and lies close to more popular Croatian sailing destinations.

The Latest News from Internautica 2014

Internautica – International Boat Show in Portorož, Slovenia, will be held from May 7th to May 11th. The headline of the boat show will be the Green Boating. Internautica will promote the launch of a new nautical school “Green Yachting Academy”. It will be all about responsible use of energy and sustainable development of boating tourism.

And the Winner Is…

We finally got the winners of European Yacht of the Year competition for 2014. In the Family Cruiser category the award went to Beneteau 38. Dehler 38 won the Performance Cruiser category. The new category – Special Yacht was won by the Swiss Saphire 27. Dutch Contest 42 CS impressed the jury and won the prize for the Luxury Cruise category.
