Croatia as a popular yacht charter destination has many charter bases that are settled in some of the most beautiful parts of Croatian coast. Some of the best yacht charter bases in Croatia are:

ACI Marina Dubrovnik

The charter base is open year round. It is located near the town of Komolac in Rijeka Dubrovacka and features 450 berths. The marina is protected by a breakwater and has a reception office, water and electricity hook ups, showers and toilets, a restaurant, a café/bar, laundry, various shops, a hotel, a fuel station, an exchange office, tennis courts and a swimming pool. The marina is equipped with a crane (5t), two travel lifts (25t and 60t) and a slipway.
Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic", is possibly the most famous tourist destination in Croatia. It was founded in the 7th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Dubrovnik has many sights that include towers, fortifications, churches, the Duke's Palace, museums, etc. However, if you have limited time for your stay in Dubrovnik, a walk through the Stradun, visiting Luza Square, Sponza Palace and Orlando's Column will do.

Rogač is the oldest coastal settlement on the island of Šolta. Although it is not far from Split, it has had a more or less steady population since the Roman ages due to pirate attacks and great distance from the fields.
This Croatian charter base is located at the northern part of Šolta, only 9 nautical miles from Split. Although it is not open all year, it features the following facilities: toilets, showers, power and water supply as well as a gas station. Located nearby are a restaurant and a grocery shop.
If you opt for yacht charter in Rogač, the base is easily reached either by ferry or catamaran from Split that operate throughout the year.

The charter base is open whole year round and is located south of the historic town of Šibenik, in the deep and secluded Šibenik Bay where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic sea. There are 367 berths in the sea and 50 on the land. Berths are available for yachts that are up to 100 m long. The marina's facilities include reception office, water and electricity hook ups, telephones, concierge service, exchange office, sanitary facilities (including those for disabled persons) open parking lot and laundry services. There is also a restaurant, a grocery story and a yacht chandlery.
A couple NM North in the Šibenik Bay lays the Krka National Park, renewed for its waterfalls. To the west of the bay there is another national park - Kornati National Park, part of the Kornati Archipelago. The archipelago counts 147 islands, islets and reefs and is famous for fascinating cliffs and stone pasture grounds. Traces of Roman, Illyrian and medieval constructions can be found on the islands. The islands are primarily uninhabited save the largest island, Kornat. The Kornati have numerous beautiful coves and in some of them you will find an excellent family restaurants that will make your yacht charter holidays in Croatia even more enjoyable.

Marina Dalmacija lies in the protected bay between the small towns of Bibinje and Sukošan, near Zadar. Opened all-year round with its 1700 berths (1200 in the sea, 500 dry berths) it is the largest Croatian marina. There are also mega yacht berths, called boxes, that accommodate 20 to 25 meters yachts. The facilities offered include: water, electricity and phone hook-ups, a hotel, a casino, an indoor Olympic swimming pool, sport grounds, medical services, laundry and dry cleaning, etc. There is enough of parking space, both outdoors and in garages.
Positioned in the very center of the Adriatic, this yacht charter base is easily reachable by land and air (international airports in Zagreb, Zadar and Split). There are four national parks in the vicinity: Kornati and Krka reachable by sea, and Paklenica and Plitvice in the inland. The most interesting is the National Park Kornati - part of Kornati Archipelago, the largest archipelago in the Adriatic Sea with 147 islands, islets and reefs.

The marina is open year round. It is located on the east coast of Rovinj harbor. It has 380 berths for the yachts up to 25 m plus 40 dry berths. Its facilities include a reception office, hotel, restaurant, telephone, water and electricity hook-ups, laundry, showers, shops, exchange office, sporting equipment, parking lot and charter fleet. Services in the marina include crane (10 t), repairs to hull and engines and a small slipway.
The town of Rovinj is one of the most popular yacht charter resorts in Croatia. It was built on an island that was connected to the mainland in 1763. The old town is still very picturesque and its architecture reflects the Venetian control of the city (from 1283 until 1797). The islands off the coast include Red Island (Crveni otok) and St. Catherine (Sveta Katarina). The town's sight include the Baroque church of St. Euphemia and the heptagonal Romanesque chapel of the Holy Trinity.
