Sailing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The island of Saint Vincent, along with other 31 Grenadine Islands, has always been a popular sailing destination. Only nine islands are inhabited. Saint Vincent is the main and the largest island, and you can charter your yacht there. On the island, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful active volcano La Soufrière and the visit gorgeous Botanic Gardens, among the oldest in the tropics.
Continue your sailing holidays to the Tobago Cays, a group of five uninhabited islands. The Cays are a paradise to every snorkeling enthusiast, thanks to their coral reefs, where you can encounter sea turtles, stingrays and rare fish species. Other popular islands are Bequia, Mustique and Union Island, each offering their own combination of quiet beaches, hidden coves and tropical landscapes.
The Caribbean region is best known for its wonderful beaches and pristine waters, but also for its history mostly marked by a long colonial period.
