Best Beaches on the Enchanting Island of Cuba

    The most famous Cuban beach, Varadero, is an image which usually comes to mind when you think about a vacation in Cuba. White sand, palm trees, lots of sun, but also many possibilities for an active vacation – snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming with the dolphins. Although it is a rather touristy beach, there are 21 kilometers of it so you will surely find a spot for yourself.
  • Guardalavaca, Holguin
    Another beautiful example of Cuba – white sand and turquoise waters with coral reefs and tropical fish. This beach is ideal for family vacations.
  • Playa Pilar, Cayo Guillermo
    Located in a small archipelago in the north of Cuba, this beach offers peace and quiet from the regular tourist life of the main island. It features tall sand dunes and blue-green water ideal for diving and fishing.
  • Playa Ancón, Trinidad
    Considered by many as the most beautiful beach on the southern coast of Cuba, Playa Ancón offers a tranquil setting for your charter vacation. Soft white sand and warm water are its main features and there are many possibilities for scuba diving and snorkeling.
  • Playa Paraíso, Cayo Largo del Sur
    This small beach in the south of Cuba truly lives up to its name – it IS a paradise. It has a small beach bar where you can order a cocktail and be a postcard example of a Cuban vacation, with palm trees and white sand all around you.
  • Playa Sirena, Cayo Largo del Sur
    The Siren Beach is connected to Playa Paraíso and together they provide for kilometers of white sand and turquoise Caribbean waters. It is located on the western side of the island, which is well protected from wind.
  • Cayo Levisa, Pinar del Río
    Cayo Levisa is a small island 45 minutes away from Palma Rubia (by boat). Its beach is a beautiful example of untouched heaven on earth with, you’ve already guessed by now, white sand and blue-green water. You can explore shipwrecks, observe the colorful tropical fish or just relax in a small beach bar.
  • Cayo Jutías, Pinar del Río
    A secluded beach which offers lots of peace and privacy and features, yes, you know, white sand and clear water. Just beware of the weather as it can change drastically in a matter of minutes.
