Beneteau Yachts shipyard gained the most of its reputation by building
solid and well-done family cruisers.
Oceanis 34 follows Beneteau’s tradition and refers to a comfortable family cruiser, perfectly constructed for longer cruises. Her size of
10.34 m LOA and 3.65 m beam allows
easy handling and maneuvering. She has a draft amounting to 1.82 m and 1.37 m depending on the buyers’ choice of the keel. Her displacement amounts to 5620 kg which could also oscillate depending on the keel and ballast equations.
Excellent performances are gained by a combination of
elegant hull design and
solid rigging, designed by naval architects studio
Finot-Conq. Beneteau Oceanis 34 is equipped with a 30 m
2 jib and 30 m
2 mainsail. The commands, winches and trimming systems on deck are designed to ensure
excellent sailing performances. The
29 HP engine should be enough to provide the power for easy maneuvering or to reach the nearest beach when there is not enough wind to take you there.
The water tank holds as much as 290 l while the
fuel tank has the capacity of
130 l which should also be enough for few days of relaxed sailing for a crew of four to six. The cockpit is designed
simply and to provide comfort. There is a folding dining table in the middle.
Oceanis 34 is equipped with a single steering wheel while transom could be removed making the exit to small
swimming platform on the stern. Regarding the interior, Beneteau Oceanis 34 is available in two versions – with
two and three cabins. Both versions provide a lot of space in the interior with plenty of natural light.
The overall impression of
space and comfort of the Oceanis 34 is emphasized with a large fridge, comfortable saloon and plenty of storage space. Her
favorable price along with her performances put her on top of the wish list among private owners and charter companies.
I wish you a calm sea, a fine wind and a strong mast!
