Salona 44 refers to the model where performances are the most recognizable and the most distinguished features. She has 14.5 m length over all and her water line amounts to 12.16 m. The hull is designed with special regard to her light yet robust and solid construction.

Her draught differs between 2.10 m and 2.55 m, depending on the type of the keel. The total sailing surface of 118.7 m² is divided between 57.6 m² of mainsail and 61.1 m² of furling genoa. Salona 44 is powered by 54 HP engine while her tanks hold 220 l of diesel, 320 l of fresh water. There is also a waste tank with the capacity of 42 l. Such performances allow Salona 44 to be categorized A – Ocean.
In addition, there are several performance options which make this yacht perfectly optimized for IRC and ORC certified races. The standard interior layout considers two aft cabins and one front cabin. One bathroom is placed to starboard, in front of the cabin and behind the chart table. The galley is to port in the spacious saloon which is equipped with dining table and a lot of storage space. Second bathroom to port divides the front cabin and the saloon.
The latest news from Salona Yachts mention the Salona Charter Edition. It is about the yachts based on the same hull construction as Salona 44 mentioned above. The redesigned Salona 44 Charter Edition refers to the novelty for the season 2015. First of all, the new version offers accommodation in four cabins equipped with two bathrooms while deck equipment is simplified, which makes this yacht very interesting for charterers.
The price of this yacht would also be more suitable for charter business than just for races. The layout in Charter Edition range includes the Simple, Comfort and Economic versions while yachts will be available through Charter Management, Ownership and Best Value Marketing Campaign programs.
